Bouzari Louise Bouzari – is a former high school and community college teacher. In addition to practicing education law for over 15 years, she also practiced commercial litigation at a national law firm as well as a large Denver-based firm.  Ms. Bouzari is recognized as one of the top special education attorneys in the state of Colorado.  She handles both education and discipline cases. Education: The University of Texas (J.D. with honors, 1995; M.A., English, 1987; B.A. with honors, English, 1981). Gerland Kate Gerland – is an education attorney and the mother of two special needs children. She handles both special education and discipline cases, and has special expertise in restraint and seclusion as well as private placement issues. Ms. Gerland has worked as a Montessori teacher and has also taught law at the college level. Education: University of Colorado (J.D., 1994), Stanford University (B.A., Drama, 1990).
